10 Veggie Winter Soup (Keto, Whole30, Paleo)

10 Veggie Soup! (Well 9 veggie soup because I forgot to get spinach 🙄) All the non starchy veggies I could fit into my pot plus a container of brodo and a sprinkle of parm. This keto soup is perfect to warm you up on a cold day and keep you fill for hours.

This recipe is also perfect for anyone under the weather or suffering from the dreaded Keto Flu.

What You’ll Need
1 container Brodo Hearth Bone Broth
1 container crushed tomatoes
1 head celery
2 carrots
1 fennel bulb
1 onion
1 bag frozen chopped string beans
2 zucchini
3 cloves garlic
1 cup Palmini rice
1 tbsp dried basil
1 tbsp dried oregano
2 big pinches of pink salt
Fresh cracked pepper
Sprinkle of parmesan cheese (optional)

What To Do
Dice all the veggies into bite size pieces. Add a tablespoon of oil to your post and sauté the celery, garlic, and onion. Once fragrant, add all the veggies and seasoning. Stir until veggies soften then add the broth. Simmer for about 20 minutes then enjoy!

This keto soup is super transformational as well. Feel free to add sugar-free sausage, ground meat or other protein to help bulk the soup up. Let me know how you make it in the comments below!

The BEST Keto Breakfast (No Eggs!!)

If you ever watch any of my Instagram stories, you know I am a yogurt and granola fiend. It is my absolute favorite breakfast (sorry eggs!) and is so quick and easy and perfect to travel with. The only problem is when I started on keto, I was always told that yogurt and granola were sugar-packed no-nos and to forget enjoying them ever again. Talk about being bummed.

But thankfully, with the popularity of the keto diet, new products came out and I have done my due diligence and have tried them all (tough life right? lol).

For the perfect yogurt and granola combo, I have found two winners that take all – no contest.

My favorite yogurt is definitely Two Good. It doesn’t tout itself as Keto, but read the labels! It’s only 80 calories with 2 grams fat, 12 grams of protein, and only 3 net carbs. And this is for ALL of their flavors. This is my favorite snack to grab or breakfast to load up with granola.

Second, granola. I was already a fan of the SoNourished brand (check out their pancake syrup as an add on to your granola and yogurt – so good!) so when they announced they were coming out with a line of three granolas, I was excited.

This granola is so good! First, some of my favorite fast facts about the company and the granola:

I’m ordering my next bag down and will try to create snack bars with the granola – stay tuned for that recipe!
  • Coconut Cashew: This flavor is so good and subtle, I think people who aren’t into coconut would like it! It tastes great with flavored yogurt and is perfect to snack on right from the bag.
  • Maple Pecan: this flavor makes the perfect yogurt parfait every single time. Add your favorite yogurt to a glass (I like the Two Good vanilla or coconut yogurt for this). Top with a serving of granola then drizzle the pancake syrup on top. OMG this makes for an incredible breakfast or a fantastic dessert!

Spicy BBQ Keto Ribs (Keto, Whole30, Paleo)

This keto ribs recipe will have you, your friends, your family and anyone who tries a bite begging for you to make it again and again.

Ingredients
2 racks pork ribs (about 4-6 lbs )
1 jar sugar-free barbecue sauce (my favorite is linked here)
Salt (my favorite is linked here)

Dry Rub
2 tablespoon garlic powder
2 teaspoon cumin
2 tablespoons smoked paprika
2 teaspoons cayenne pepper

Instructions
In a small bowl, mix all of the dry rub ingredients together.

Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and then rinse and dry the ribs.

Liberally salt both sides of the ribs. Then, liberally spread the dry rub all over the ribs, front and back. Wrap the ribs tightly in foil – at this point you can either store in your refrigerator to marinate (no more than over night) or get ready to cook them. *I usually marinate with the dry rub the morning before I cook them, so about 8 hours.

When ready to cook, preheat oven to 275 degrees and place your ribs on a large baking sheet.

Bake for 3 hours (the ribs should be fork tender, if not cook them a little longer). Open the foil packet and drain any liquid that has formed. Brush on the BBQ sauce and broil for 5 minutes or until the sauce becomes nice and bubbly.

Remove and let the ribs rest 5-10 minutes before cutting. Serves 4-6

  1. If you follow me on Instagram, you know my obsession with my Nespresso Vertuo machine (and my excess buy of all their pumpkin spice cups). I actually bought my Nespresso machine from Amazon because of the deal I got during last year’s Prime Day – the machine came with an aerator so I can foam up cream to put in my coffee and was 30% off. This year the deal is even better with 41% off the Nespresso machine! ProTip: I bought my machine from Amazon, but it makes more sense to purchase the coffee pods from Nespresso’s website (and it still ships in just a couple of days!).

  3. I have been stalking the InstantPot with Airfryer lid price an Amazon waiting for the moment that it would hit a sale price. And boy it has come! This gadget seriously does it all. Now with the air fryer lid, the InstantPot air fries (obviously lol), pressure cooks, sautés, steams, slow cooks, sous vides, warms, roasts, bakes, broil and dehydrates. I mean, come on! I literally just ordered this during the Prime Day sale, and I am so excited for it to arrive – expect A LOT of healthy recipes to be filling the blog very soon!

  4. I use my blender everyday. I make smoothies, nut butters, juices, and more but I hate when I want one serving of something to dirty up the huge blender. I love this Ninja blender because it comes with small, to go cups that you can blend right in with the full power of the blender! This feature is amazing because I know what I’m blending is one serving and I only have to wash one thing.

  5. Working out at home has been a total game changer for me. After saving up for a year, I bought a Peloton in March and it has been so incredible! (add me on the leaderboard: robolikes) Recently, Peloton added classes that used resistance bands and these classes are so good! Andy & Hannah teach them and they are so good and leave you feeling sore. These bands are my favorite because they are much more budget friendly and are so easy to use. I use them whenever I need extra strength workouts added to my bike riding!

  6. Also recently added on the Peloton app are barre classes! These classes are also with Hannah and OMG let me tell you they are so tough! I love adding Bala weights to my wrists and ankles to make the moves even more challenging. These weights are also great to add an arm workout while walking too! I also love a great product that was also a contestant on SharkTank but that’s just a fun factoid for me ;D

  7. I love these workout pants. They are super high waisted & have 3 pockets! They are also super breathable & always stay put during my workouts filled with pilates ab workouts, barre squats, power walks, and spin classes. They also come in a ton of awesome color and lengths and are beyond affordable.

  8. I am an avid meal prepper. I actually really enjoy taking a few hours on a Sunday and cooking up a storm – it’s almost like meditating to me! I love these containers to keep all of my prepped food fresh throughout the week. They are airtight and have never had one of them stain even with soups and sauces.

  9. I love walking. I personally feel it has been instrumental in the positive changes in my body and mind. But it’s not always feasible to get in the amount of steps I want daily. Which lead me to research treadmills. Now, I live in a tiny apartment in New York City so the tread needed to be compact and hopefully something I could shove underneath my bed when necessary.
