I could sit and eat a whole tub of Ben & Jerry’s Cherry Garcia in one sitting. Easily. But of course for every delicious bite I’m feeding into my face, I am also consuming enough fat and sugar to last me a week. So, in an effort to not eat enough sugar to put me into a coma, I created my very own low fat, no added sugar Cherry Garcia Yogurt Pop!
Ingredients
- 1 cup nonfat plain Chobani yogurt
- 1/2 cup pitted, juicy cherries (frozen or fresh)
- 20 grams 85% dark chocolate (I used two squares of Lindt)
- 1/4 TSP vanilla extract
Chop the chocolate into small chunks; set aside. Process or pulse the cherries until chunky and juicy. Fold in yogurt, vanilla, and chocolate. Place in your Zuko Popsicle Maker (I got about 3 pops with a couple of scoops for me leftover) or ice cream machine. Let set and enjoy!
Tip: if using the pop molds, leave out on the counter to let soften up before eating.
