Cutting carbs can be helpful to accelerate a weight loss plan or even in long term diet plans like a keto lifestyle. The worst part of cutting carbs? Finding snacks! Meal planning is great, but finding suitable snacks can be challenging. Here is a list of delicious low carb snacks that are perfect to take to work!

1. Cottage Cheese: 1/2 cup is 110 calories 5 grams fat, 4 grams of carbs & 13 grams of protein! (my fave brand is pictured!)
2. Hard Boiled Eggs: two eggs is 155 calories with 11 grams of fat, 1 gram carbs & 13 grams of protein!
3. Justin’s Almond Butter: I love getting these packets – they help keep to keep my portions honest & can be tossed in a desk or purse for when a snack attack happens!
4. Quest Bars: these sweet treats are packed with protein & fiber, both perfect for a low carb snack!
5. Mixed Nuts: a handful of nuts is a great way to stave off hunger while getting protein and good fats.
6. Jerky: Make sure you get the zero sugar kind for lowest carbs possible!
7. Protein Powder: look for ones with a great taste, low sugar & no extra junk in the ingredients!

9. Sweet Treats: this website has tons of paleo friendly recipes, but this one is my all time fave!
10. Hummus: I love this savory snack, but if you aren’t careful the calories & fat can add up quickly. I like spreading 1-2 tablespoons on a rice cake & top it with tomatoes or cucumbers. This way I can enjoy it without going overboard like I would if I was using it as a dip.
11. Avocado & Lox: this snack will give you a dose of healthy fats & omegas. Curb your appetite while taking an Instagram worthy pic!
