I love living in NYC and I do love my apartment but when summer hits I will do anything to avoid turning my oven on. Even coking on the stove heats up my apartment to an almost unbearable degree so my best is ALWAYS crockpot cooking.
Crockpots are one of my favorite kitchen tools. It is so simple – toss in a couple of ingredients and let them all meld together for a few hours – now you have an awesome meal (for the next couple of days too) without heating up your whole home.
As an avid crockpotter, I try A LOT of recipes from Pinterest. I have listed out my top 11 go-to recipes below. Enjoy!
