What is Keto?

    1. Hi Mara, there isn’t a super strict recipe for that one – but you can mix together about 6 eggs and add in your fave cheese and low carb veggie or seasoning, line a muffin tin with a slice or two of ham or bacon, pour in the mixture then bake for about 20 minutes on 350!

  1. HI Lauren I downloaded the keto in 5 receipe books and have been trying them out this week. I’m a terrible cook and keep making mistakes like using cacao powder instead of cocoa! But wanted to ask you if the marinara sauce mentioned is a particular type because when I add the ingredients together in MFP it seems to say higher carbs than 5gm.

    1. Hi Laura, I usually make my own marinara with no added sugar. Roa’s is also a great brand with very little net carbs. Hope that helps!

    I’m new to this and am trying to find recipes for my 21 year old son who wants to try Keto, these look delicious!! Just wondering if I can swap almond flour for the coconut flour in the taco cups?

    1. Hi Lori, that is so sweet of you to be researching recipes for you son! You can definitely subsitutute almonnd for coconut flour but its not a 1:1 swap. Coconut flour is much more absorbent so substitute 1 cup of almond flour with 1/4 cup (1 ounce) of coconut flour and you should be good to go!
