When possible, I try to avoid fast food. I have this thought process that fast food is bad for you, should only be a treat, etc. So when I’m out & in a bind for something to eat, I go through a major guilt trip if I have to turn to fast food. (Please tell me I’m not the only one!)
These last minute trips to the McDonald’s, in addition to making me feel guilty, could also throw me out of ketosis & interrupt my diet success.
After doing major research, I realized that there are many on-the-go or fast food options that are Keto friendly. Surprising, I know!

There are some smart ways to figure out your best options at a fast food place. Going bunless, saying no to croutons & not choosing any sugary options are obvious, but fast food places can hide carbs in seemingly harmless options. Did you know Taco Bell puts oats in their meat?! Like…y tho?
What Exactly Is Keto?
A low carb diet, also known as a ketogenic or keto diet, is a diet in which you typically eat fewer than 20-50 net grams of carbs per day. (Net carbs are when you subtract the amount of fiber per serving from the amount of carbs per serving)

My Personal Keto Pizza Hack
My sister introduced me to Cauli*Flour crusts a couple of months ago and I have been hooked ever since! These pizza’s are absolutely delicious and their macros are perfect! There is only 1 net carb per slice and 3 net carbs for the whole pizza! You can fully indulge without any carb guilt! I make a pizza once or twice a week since they are so easy to make and I can switch it up every time with crust flavors and toppings. My favorite combo is the Italian pizza crusts topped with peppers, onion, ham and mozzarella (check out my recipe here). So easy and so delicious, and less than 5 net carbs for the whole pizza!
