For the longest time, the holidays would come in and absolutely destroy my waistline. My all-time high for weight gain throughout the holidays was 25lbs. TWENTY-FIVE POUNDS! It’s insane how much weight can creep up on you when you aren’t even paying attention.

So summer is officially here!
While I love the sun and the fun socializing that summer brings, what I don’t love is the potential weight gain…
It’s just a little too easy to start enjoying summer and forget all about your weight and health goals, particularly when those BBQs come out.
But the great thing about the keto diet is it’s so delicious that with a tiny bit of pre-planning you can stick to your diet during all the fun times without feeling like you’re missing out.

So many people I talk to about the keto diet think you have to have a lot of money to make it work.
They think the keto diet is crazy expensive and that in order to be healthy they need to spend a ton on groceries!
I know I certainly use to think that…
But now, having done the keto diet for literal years, I’ve realized that it’s more than possible to do this whole low carb lifestyle if you’re on a budget. In fact, I would go as far as saying it’s an easy diet to do if you’re on a budget if you know how of course!
