So many people I talk to about the keto diet think you have to have a lot of money to make it work.
They think the keto diet is crazy expensive and that in order to be healthy they need to spend a ton on groceries!
I know I certainly use to think that…
But now, having done the keto diet for literal years, I’ve realized that it’s more than possible to do this whole low carb lifestyle if you’re on a budget. In fact, I would go as far as saying it’s an easy diet to do if you’re on a budget if you know how of course!

The symptoms of menopause are no joke. I remember being around my Mom when she was going through menopause. The hot flashes, weight gain, insomnia and …mood swings (sorry Mom!) were brutal and not only that, for my mom, it lasted for YEARS! I wish I knew then what I know now about menopause and how diet plays a huge roll in the severity of symptoms. Hopefully, by getting it all down here I can help others battling through menopause and help them come out with fewer symptoms and weight loss.

Other than New Year’s, there is probably no other time during the year that motivates us to make a fresh start like springtime does. When the warm breezes start blowing, we want to throw open the windows and let the rebirth all around us revitalize our homes and our spirits.
Because it seems natural to clean out the old during this time of year, it’s a great time to come face to face with our excuses for not getting fit and healthy. Excuses pile up just like the clutter that we accumulate in our houses, but it’s time to come clean.

Let’s talk traveling while Keto.
I used to get so nervous when traveling because of the regulations of what you can bring on a plane, most of my keto foods needing to be refrigerated and having enough space for all my containers.
But never fear because I’ve figured out the best way to eat and snack while traveling and I’m going to give you my fave tips.
This sounds so simple but is SO IMPORTANT! It is tempting to sip on sodas and soft drinks while traveling but getting enough water is so crucial. Traveling dehydrates, especially when flying, so make sure to up your water intake!
