There was nothing that I missed more when I went on keto than sandwiches. As Liz Lemon so perfectly summed up, “I believe that all anyone really wants in this life is to sit in peace and eat a sandwich.”
Give me a sandwich & I’m happy. Every year on my birthday I throw a Sandwich Day – a day where my friends gather together and we eat sandwiches & drink wine together. Seriously. My love affair with bread is the real deal.
And not just bread – give me a good bagel, a crunchy cracker or a simple piece of toast & I’m happy. But this love is not easily attainable on keto – keto is low carb, bread is the devil type of diet, right?
Wrong! You can still indulge in a bagel or sandwich or crackers while still being true to your keto lifestyle. I have tried out the recipes & bought brands who claim to be the real thing. Out everything I’ve tried, these recipes and brands reign supreme.

These little bombs are awesome when you need something sweet, but also work as a quick breakfast, as a yummy snack, a pre or postworkout snack, or really whenever you need something quick & keto throughout the day.

I’m not a big drinker at all, but I do love to indulge in a beer or a glass of wine with dinner or out with friends. But indulging and diet don’t really seem to go together usually. On a low carb keto diet you can absolutely enjoy wine, beer & mixed drinks as long as they are low in carbs and fit in your macros.
Also, even though alcohol can fit into your diet, don’t go crazy with it. Speaking from experience too much alcohol can lead to the drunken (no diet) munchies or a hangover greasy fast food extravaganza.
